Using Affirmations to Change Your Life

If there ever was a quick and easy way to get what you want, affirmations just might fit that bill.

First things first - an affirmation is a positive statement that you repeat over and over. You can do this by repeating it in your head, out loud, writing it, or during meditation.

Secondly, let's look at how an affirmation should be written.

For example... many people want money. Lots and lots of money. Chances are good, if you want money that bad, you don't have as much as you want and might consider yourself "broke" or "poor." You would want to craft your affirmation in a positive way, looking toward what you desire instead of it coming from where you currently are.

BAD: "I don't want to be broke anymore."

GOOD: "Money flows to me in many different ways!"

GOOD: "Money is attracted to me like a bee to a flower!"

Let's take health!

BAD: "I no longer have my health issues."

GOOD: "I am so healthy!"

GOOD: "My doctor is shocked at my good health!"

Some people will read those good affirmations and scoff at them because they seem so far from the truth. If this is you, there's a trick for that. (Because you NEVER want to scoff at your affirmation!)

Instead of "Money flows to me in different ways!" Just use the affirmation, "Money." And instead of ", I am so healthy!" Use the affirmation "Health."

Here's an important tip:

VISUALIZING YOURSELF IN THE AFFIRMATION AMPLIFIES THAT AFFIRMATION IN YOUR LIFE! So if you can mentally see money flowing to you or your doctor being pleasantly surprised by your health, you will soar so quickly toward what you want!

However, if you are the type of person (there's nothing wrong with you if this is you) who has to use the simple, one-word affirmations, visualize what that word means to you instead of seeing yourself as embodying that word instead. You even just imagine yourself pumping your fists in the air, smiling while saying your one-word affirmation. That's plenty good!

The whole thing behind affirmations is your mindset. How do you view what you want? Do you see it as attainable, fun, a worthy? You got it in the bag, and you're the perfect candidate for a fun, imaginative affirmation. Do you see it as hard and useless to try? That's when you use the one-word affirmation.

The more you repeat the affirmation, the more it will create new grooves in your brain, and those new grooves will create a different life for you. The life that your affirmation speaks of.

You definitely can change your life with affirmations, and it is one of the easiest ways to create that change!
